Who Should Attend
Report developers, systems or business analysts, who are familiar with NoetixViews and Noetix WebQuery and desire to improve their competency with developing custom reports using these tools.

What You Will Learn
You will be instructed on creating and customizing reports using advanced calculations with SQL functions, joining data from multiple views, and creating multi-level reports with drill through functionality. Students will also learn to manage reports in their personal folders, to create subscriptions to execute on schedule, and to export reports to be viewed and managed in other applications such as Microsoft Excel.

Key learnings include:

• Review of NoetixViews for Oracle E-Business Suite solution
• Review of Noetix WebQuery environment
• Navigate the folder hierarchy to create new reports
• Create simple reports from base views
• Create complex conditions and parameters with AND vs OR
• Create calculated items using SQL functions
• Manage outer joins vs inner joins in multiple view reports
• Manage the display properties of the results window
• Export reports and queries to Excel
• Define subscriptions and snapshots to schedule reports
• Define drill to detail reports

Prerequisites

• Familiarity with NoetixViews and the Noetix Help File
• Working knowledge of Noetix WebQuery
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
• Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite or the data stored therein
• Understanding of SQL (optional)
